Bored.
My phone is broken at work, and I'm waiting for someone to come fix it. I've now been waiting five hours. I did some work (just expense reporting) earlier, but I'm out of things to do. My job requires use of the phone, so I don't know what to do except wait. I'm surprised that my manager hasn't come up with something for me to do, but maybe she's not reading the update emails I send out.

Last night we played soccer. My friends play every Sunday, and while I was away they started playing Wednesday nights too. I haven't played in about three months, so I was pretty rusty. I'm pretty bad normally, because I've never really played sports before. I'm also fairly out-of-shape. Anyway, there weren't many of us last night, and everyone was determined that I would score, since I've never scored before (I usually just play defense). Finally, Victor set up a shot for me, and I made it. Yay! However, the other team's goalie, Chadwick, was actually gone from his position, because Ryan had fallen down, and Chadwick wanted to check to make sure he was OK. We were playing with virtually no rules (no offsides, time outs, out-of-bounds, etc.), as this was more of a practice match... and I think everyone thought that play had stopped. So I don't think I officially scored. But oh well.

I just sent another update about my phone to my supervisor, and he said "ok thanks." So I guess it's OK with them that I'm sitting here doing nothing.
