Too. Tired. To. Post.
Sorry I haven't updated in the last couple of days. This weekend was so draining, and I didn't feel good yesterday, that I haven't really felt up to posting.
Anyway, we went bowling Saturday night. Turns out, I had been bowling incorrectly all of my life. No wonder I wasn't ever any good. Anyway, I now know that which fingers to put into the holes in the ball (OK, OK, so I was stupid), so my game is already improving. I still suck for now, though. Ryan played a really great game, and Collier got a lot of strikes as well. Victor always does well, and Dylan is apparently as good at bowling as he is at soccer.
Sunday I woke up early and made muffins for the V, because I wanted to make him breakfast. I took them to his house and he, Gabi, her friend, and I ate them. Before I left my house, though, I finished up the cheesecake. The crust didn't stick together very well, but I made the top really pretty by arranging sliced strawberries on it. Victor's parents showed up not too long after we finished eating muffins, and we all went to have barbeque.
After lunch, we had the cheesecake. Everyone liked it. I was so pleased. I hadn't made a cheesecake in about 12-13 years (I used to make them for 4-H baking competitions), and I was afraid it wouldn't turn out well. After we stuffed ourselves, the girls and I (and that includes Victor's mom) went to the mall for a little while. I bought some jeans at the new Nordstrom and some cute t-strap heels at Foley's. We hurried home to change for soccer.
I played defense until the middle of the second half, when I went to play goalie. I'm not very good at that either, but I was trying my best (especially because the V's parents were there). Gabi kicked the ball into my face, which wasn't fun! I was diving to grab it, and it went straight into my glasses. They flew off of my face and into the trash can we were using as a goal post. I luckily didn't get a black eye, but it did hurt and scared me a lot. After soccer, we showered and went to Macaroni Grill.
So you can see perhaps why the weekend was so tiring. Monday morning, I got up early to have dinner with Victor's parents before work. I was so tired when I got to the office, and then... effing cramps. Being a girl sucks. I went home sick, because I couldn't take it anymore.
So that's pretty much brought you up to speed. Tonight - laundry! Gee, my life is exciting.
