O adhere to me, for we are bound by symmetry
The weather here is averaging around a high of 104 Fahrenheit each day. If I go down to the pool, I lie there and sweat, and eventually my headphones start to burn my ears. But it's the only time I listen to music while I'm here. Even though I brought a small CD player/clock radio to listen to in my room, I never use it. The TV is always on instead. I don't know why I find it so hard to listen to music in the hotel room. I guess the TV keeps me from feeling trapped, or something.
I'm on such a weird schedule here. I work from 10:00am to 7:00am. The last two trips, my body wanted to sleep right after work, so I would sleep and then wake up and enjoy the afternoon before work. But I was getting home earlier then, like 4:00am, and it would still be dark outside. Now that it's light outside when I get home, I don't feel like sleeping. I've been trying to force myself, but I'm going to give up.
I just realized I only have three weeks left here. That's pretty cool. The other day I was worrying myself over the fact that I have to pack up my apartment when I get home. I got all worked up about it, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it while I'm here, so I should just relax.
By the way, I know I promised you some pictures, but I realized I forgot my USB cable for my camera.
Victor has been spending his spring break by seeing copious amounts of shows at SXSW, which I am missing for the third time. Yep, I have never attended a SXSW show the entire time I have lived in Austin. Considering the fact that I love music and going to shows, this is pretty sad.
