Back from the sticks!
I spent the last several days in Arkansas with my family. Not too much excitement there, just good ol' family stuff. Mom made a lot of my favorite food, including homemade ice cream, brownies, and yummy fried okra. We went shopping, and I bought my first real business suit on sale at Dillard's. Since I'm currently unemployed, I figure I'll have to go on some interviews soon. I was able to find a pretty cute (yet still business-y) brown tweedy suit, with cute buttons. I sent off my first application last week, so hopefully that will turn into an interview.
We have houseguests this weekend. Kat and Mark came up because Kat will be teaching a film class on Monday. They are taking a nap right now. I think we may go to see Open Water later tonight. Next weekend, Billy and Diana are coming down for the Curiosa festival. We're all going together. So we'll have houseguests two weeks in a row.
