Interview with the vamp...
This little meme has been going around for a while, and I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon right behind Neil, who has just interviewed me below. Here are the rules:
1. Leave a comment on my blog saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond and ask you five questions.
3. You'll update your blog with my five questions, and your five answers.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
And here is my interview, which Neil has politely formatted around Bob Mould/Sugar/Husker Du song titles:
1) If you could make three 'Changes' to the world, what would they be?
Well, start off big, why dontcha? I'm not one of those "save the world" types, but I guess I could come up with some changes. Number one: everyone be happier. I think we are all too caught up with earning money, getting ahead, getting revenge, getting even, and whatnot that we forget to take time to be happy. Number two: everyone stop obsessing about how you look and just try to be healthy. No more beating yourself up for those extra pounds, and instead, just live a healthier lifestyle. This is a change I should make too. And three? No more religious fundamentalism. It's not good for anyone.
2) Complete the following in as many words as you fancy: 'In The Eyes Of My Friends', I am...
Well, probably to most of my friends I'm that nice, kinda funny girl that you don't really know too well. I sometimes kick myself that I didn't make closer relationships with some of my friends. I'm pretty good at making acquaintances, but I get self-conscious when I think about calling someone to hang out. To my three or four closer pals, I'm just crazy Mandy.
3) Write something entitled the following: 'Something I Learned Today' is...
Something I Learned Today: Today I learned how to get to Good Records from my new apartment, and I also learned that their prices aren't as high as I figured they were. OK, so it's not profound on the surface, but when you are a music lover, it's really important to know how to get to the local indie record shop.
4) What's 'The Biggest Lie' you've ever told?
Wow. Hmmm. I usually don't lie that much, beyond little white lies and the occasional "cough, cough" calling into work sick. The only sorta big lie I can think of is one that might still get me in trouble just in case certain people ever stumble upon this website, so I'd rather just keep that one in the closet, thank you very much. And it was a pretty stupid lie, so don't think it's about drugs or sex or rock 'n roll. Oh, I used to go to raves against my parents' wishes. Big deal.
5) Tell me, what is 'Your Favourite Thing'?
I have a lot of favourites! Including spelling things the British way... it's more colourful! I love hanging out with my friends... especially philosophizing with Mark, gossiping with Ryan, and making videos with Diana. And I love just being with Victor. I don't care if that makes me cheesy. Shut up, can't a girl be in love?
