Living on the Edge
One of the perils of living with someone with OCD is that you're never sure if changes will freak them out. For example, I cleaned the kitchen and living room today as a surprise for Victor, who has been pretty stressed out lately. It always helps me to come home to a clean apartment when I'm feeling stressed, so hopefully my cleaning will help Victor. In doing so, I had to clean up all of our office stuff... mainly, bills. I tried to keep everything in the same piles (he likes to make little piles of things), but moved all of it over to the desk area. I'm a little worried that this may cause additional stress rather than alleviate it!

I also moved the remote controls from the coffee tables (we have two small ones) to the side table, which will probably work better for him, since he can reach them easier. However, Victor's pretty particular about his remote controls (must be at a right angle! must be in the same place!), so I may have screwed everything up there too.

At least the house looks much better, until you get into the bedroom, which I am saving for tomorrow.

Oh, we're going to see Franz Ferdinand tonight at the Gypsy Tea Room in Deep Ellum. I saw Clinic there a couple of years ago, and I was pretty impressed with the layout of the venue. It seemed to be a great place to see small shows. It will be interesting to see if tonight's show leaves the same impression on me
