Sorry, folks
It's been a pretty slow week here. Just submitting more applications and resumes to jobs that will probably never contact me back. I've been reading a lot. I finished Friday Night Lights, which was really enjoyable. I was pretty anti-sports when I was in high school, so I can't imagine what it would be like to grow up in a Texas town where sports were the only thing going. I also read Tommy's Tale, which I found on sale at a bookstore. It's Alan Cumming's first novel, and it wasn't too bad... in an actor-first-novel sort of way. Right now I'm reading the highly praised An Evening of Long Goodbyes by Paul Murray. So far it's pretty amusing.
We got Interpol's Antics and Brian Wilson's Smile this week, but I haven't heard them yet.
