A Sort of Homecoming
Victor and I are going to Austin tonight to spend the weekend there. It's been about two months since we've been there, and it will be good to see our friends. We really don't have anything planned except for a screening of two short films that our friend Aaron made. And brunch afterward.
Victor just finished reading "Friday Night Lights", and I am reading it now. We wanted to read it before the movie comes out. A friend of ours worked on the film, and the music was done by some other friends. I heard a rumour that much of the music recorded was not put in the film, but a paycheck's a paycheck, right?
Anyway, it's shaping up to be a very Texas weekend, what with the book about high school football, the visit to Austin, and Hurricane Ivan coming back for round 2.
