My pal Mark waxed lyrical over baseball's Opening Day today. He also thought it would be funny to say that his team, the Astros, are also my favorite team. He's wrong, of course, although my team's dismal showing today forces me to consider switching teams (just kidding, Sox fans!).

I actually saw some of the game this afternoon. Since I worked both days of the weekend, I got the afternoon off. I spent some of it trying to go to a doctor's appointment, but it turned out that I was early. Like a week early. Oh well, I guess I'll go back next week. So I came home and watched part of the game and put an ad for our apartment on craigslist (p.s. If you need a place to live in Dallas, drop me a line). I got some responses right away, so I spent an hour or two cleaning up in case someone came to see it. I kept the game on while I was cleaning, and I kept hearing the score getting worse and worse. I hope this isn't indicative of what the season will be like.

In other sports news, I totally won the March madness competition that Victor, Mark, and I had. Ha ha ha!!!

Tonight we went to see Explosions in the Sky. I'll write about that tomorrow, but it was a great show. Thanks, Chris!
